Isaac Newton has a wide range of discoveries. He took theories and applied them in ways that have never been done before.

In 1687, Isaac Newton’s book Principia was published. The book was written in Latin and has 3 books included in it.

When Newton died in 1727, he left behind no will and an enormous stack of papers. His surviving correspondences, notes, and manuscripts contain an estimated 10 million words. There are many pages of scientific and mathematical brilliance. There are also pages that uncover another side of Newton, a side his descendants tried to keep hidden from the public.

While sorting through old chemistry books at the Chemical Heritage Foundation in Philadelphia a professor stumbled upon a forgotten manuscript handwritten by Sir Isaac Newton. Any Newton manuscript is of interest, but this one was worth its weight in gold, literally. As a chemist he historian of science he recognised it immediately.

Isaac Newton has left behind theories and discoveries and ideas yet to be unravelled. These things could change our world completely all thanks to him.

Isaac Newton was a genius for his time, and discovered some ground breaking theories that modern science couldn’t live without. However, views on him have been overrated, and some people believe he was the most accomplished scientist of the past.
The Biography.com editors argue that “Isaac Newton's fame grew even more after his death, … many of his contemporaries proclaimed him the greatest genius who ever lived. Maybe a slight exaggeration,” (http://www.biography.com/people/isaac-newton-9422656#!) This shows that Isaac Newton might be a bit overrated, however his accomplishments aren’t taken for granted.

Sarah Dry believes that “In the history of science there is no greater figure than Newton. … So he’s become an icon, both more and less than human.” This shows that he made a big impression that has lasted for many years after his death, and that he is valued very much.

Isaac Newton was urged by his friend Edmond Halley to right down his thoughts into a book, which would later become 'Principa'. Halley even paid for the production of the book. There are no numbers on how much it cost to publish, but we do know, that a copy sold for $3.7 million dollars in 2016.
