Since the tropical rainforest is such a rich and green environement it is in serious danger due to deforestation. This is such an impactful event that half of tropical rainforests have been cleared. With this many species go extinct due to losing their habitats. As the world is in need of more fuel and supplies more and more trees will be cut down until there is nothing left. This is also bad because the rainforest is what supplies a large supply of the worlds oxygen.
