Figures by Samantha Gaona

This is my first drawing of the human noes and lips. AT first it was very frustrating and irritating but after a while of concentration and lots of practice i started to get a little more comfortable drawing figures and human faces. The transistion form chartooning to drawing realistic things was difficult but now I can go back and forth with either one now.

Looking at this I could have made it a bit better in smoothing out the colors better but as I looked at other things that I wanted to draw I got caught up in those and forgot about this. It still looks nice but I could have put more time in it.

The practice drawing was very help full but this one looks a bit scary in some ways.

I like the transistion of color in my drawing this might have been my 5th attempt at getting better at drawing realistic things.

I never knew how well figure drawing I would be able to draw. Usually when ever I tried to do figures it always came out disfigured and not similar to each other porportaion of the body.

I tried to work with charcoal but just learned how much it smeared and got everywhere haha whoops. But I have done another drawing with charcaol and it did come out pretty good.

More figures but he's actually younger in real life i have a tendency to make others look older or younger while drawing them.

Trying just to draw the figure and not the chair was a bit of a challenge but now isn't as much anymore.
