this song is about a young child who wanted to follow his passion to be a gamer. The songs lyrics mentions many traits of fortnite and how to play it.The boy explains about the troubles he has faced in his attempt to be a gamer and the backlash he has faced.
reflection:
i feel that the creator is immature as he expects success without failure. He complained too much in the song and i feel that he and the song are truly cringe worthy. From this i can tell that the boy has obviously born into prosperity and had not faced much challenges for him to react to hate this way

https://youtu.be/dQw4w9WgXcQ
Summary:
It is a prime example of the delusions and the unrealistic expectations of love that people have. This attitude of such hopeless romantics showcases the irrationality of love and how shallow people can be.
Reflection:
I think that this iconic song can be viewed not only as just a love song, but also a reflection of the attitudes of the teenagers during the 80s. Many songs during that time were love songs, showing the romanticism of those in that time.

Each character have something they want and are not afraid to put their life on the line as long as they have a reason to do so.

This song in my opinion shows the characters strong desires to let go of their pasts and to grow stronger. They feel as if they are falling into the abyss and can break any moment. Going back, they want to become the better version of themselves, Who they want to be.The past is painful and continues to haunt them but they have to move on .Break free from it. No matter how tough the journey is , they still have something to fight, live for and to find their light. It doesnt matter whether it cost their lives. In the end their reason/determination will come through, that it can overcome anything.Nothing can stop their goal. Therefore, its the deadly drive of the characters.

The world we live in is too cruel

Summary: This song is about a man named Joe which has "cotton eyes". There is many meaning of cotton eye from having eyes that are enucleated and have used cotton eyes to "replace" it. This song dates back to 1825 where Dorothy Scarabough had heard this from slaves which they would sing. This would then become songs that American Southerns would sing. This eventually became "cotton eye joe".
Reflection: I find this song a delight to sing. It has a catchy melody that is easy to remember. In Rednex version of this song, it is mixed with EDM (Electronic Dance Music), which blew this song into popularity. This songs history is remarkable and is definitely a classic that everybody should know.

https://youtu.be/L0MK7qz13bU
summary:At the very beginning of the film, we learn that there are two sisters, princesses, who share a deep love for each other. However, everything goes wrong when Elsa, the older sister, accidentally freezes her younger sister Anna’s head while using her magical powers to create an indoor winter wonderland. The princess’ parents rush Anna off to be healed by some trolls. Unfortunately, all memory of Elsa’s powers must be swept from Anna’s mind in order for her to be healed, so Anna has no memory of what has occurred. After the event, Elsa is kept away from Anna so that she won’t hurt her again, and in the years of separation that follow, a rift grows between them. Unfortunately, before too long, calamity strikes again and the girls’ parents are lost at sea.

reflection:The song’s prevalence has made it an important aspect of today’s cultural landscape. Consequently, it is also important for examining today’s culture. Indeed, because it is mostly targeted to young people, children and teens, it is also an important puzzle piece for putting together the puzzle that is our culture’s future. It is also my favourite movie and song

My favourite song as for now is the song: Surface Pressure from Disney's Encanto . It represents how the oldest sibling has to carry the weight of unrealistic expectations and family burdens in a household . It also shows how people feel "worthless" if they can't be of "service", or in other words, they believe that if they do not do enough or help enough, they would be useless and considered a cast-aside in society.

I personally like this song as I also relate to it. Although I am not the oldest sibling in my family, I think this song could be relevant in the lives of many. Especially because we constantly have to keep up with the uncountable and never-ending expectations our school and families make for us.

Summary.:
This song features a woman feels that everyone else stereotypes her because of her gender. However, they don't realise that she defies female stereotypes by being smart and creative. Nevertheless, she chooses to shake them off because they are all going to hate her anyway, no matter what she does.

Reflection:
I like the song because Taylor Swift is inspirational and brave. By shaking off the criticism and lies that surround her and choosing to remain as she is, she shows integrity because she is honest with herself and has the courage to admit that the stereotypes are wrong. This makes her stand out because a lot of people will blindly believe stereotypes about themselves because they are popular and pretend to be someone they're not to please others. However, she is not like that. Where most will give in, she will resist, and when most will break, she will stand strong. Thus, I like Taylor Swift because she is brave.

The song tells us that it is okay to be yourself, and you should not pretend to someone you are not. Even though people around may judge you, we should still be ourselves and not living like others just like how society wants you to. This is also a song about self love, thinking that you are perfect just the way you are.
REFLECTION
This song is very inspiring as it teaches me not to care about what people say . when people judge you, you should just be yourself. We would be happier living as ourselves than to be living as someone else. this makes me more confident of myself and not to be scared of getting judged. no one is perfect and we all have our flaws. we should not fix ourselves just to fit into society's beauty standards. i hope that this song can help people to gain more confidence about themselves and ignore what other people say or judge about them

Summary:

This song is about having a dream. Making the attempt to start will give you energy to work towards it and turn your future, tomorrow, into today by achieving your goals. There are like minded individuals who are with you on the way to tomorrow to achieve their goals and there is no need to feel lonely. Your will to achieve your dreams will motivate and fuel you to take more steps towards a new day. So one should stop waiting and start to move towards tomorrow. As long as you are sure of your identity and dreams you will eventually succeed. Try to dream big and a better tomorrow will arrive.

Reflection:

This song encourages me to have dream big and be industrious like other like minded individuals so we can all step into the next day as a better person. Instead of fighting an uphill battle against each other, we should make building each other up more prevalent in society. As long as we remain persistent, our dreams will come through one day. We must not be discouraged by difficulties and stay resilient.

However it is wrote in a relatable way with a bit of hokkien to make it even more memorable for others. Also by using repetitive phrases , imaginary and similes along with images in video it makes video more integrated to ones brain.
reflection:
I chose this song as it shows singapore past on how they battle against dengue which was prevalent in the past. This song is also an example of an innovative idea on how the media can pull in even more people to fight together. As we can see from the views though the lyrics does not make sense to a certain extent and that is the gem which makes the video viral which also tells how dengue is becoming a bigger and bigger deal and citizens should take caution against dengue

Summary (50 words)

This song describes how incompetent one can become without ambition. However much potential one has, if they are ambitionless, they may miss many opportunities that come up to them due to lack of confidence. The song then encourages us to push out limits to never shy away from challenges and to face them with courage.

Reflection (50 words)

The lyrics inspired me in a very profound way. The lyrics motivate me to strive through difficult times and my diligent work will pay off. In addition, ambition is an essential component of our daily lives. It gives us the adrenaline to push forward and expedite our tasks. It's common for us to make absurd excuses just to get out of an awkward situation, and this illustrates how unambitious we can be. In the long run, we get stuck in this perpetual cycle and eventually become anti-social.

I thought the lyrics of the song fit valentines. The lyrics are rather romantic I would say? They revolve around the ideology that if you wish for something and blow on a dandelion to disperse it's seeds, your wish would come true. She sings that she'd spend every dandelion she sees in the field on a singular wish of wanting the other person to be solely hers, and as if that wouldn't be enough, she'd pray to god about wanting them by her side as well. How seeing them smile makes her feel that everything will be alright, how having them look at her makes her feel alive and that her happiness peaks at that moment. The pace of the song is rather slow as well, giving off a more carefree mood, matching the imagery of the singer standing in a field of dandelions, open to air as the breeze blows past her.

No relationship is ‘perfect.’ It is the two partner’s efforts that make it a perfect relationship despite all the flaws present. Calum Scott promises that he would ‘climb mountains’ and ‘swim oceans,’ metaphorically, to make this relationship work. It takes effort from both partners to make a relationship lasting. And sometimes it is worth this extra effort because she/he is the One. Calum Scott suggests that there are some parts “broken” in this relationship. Some of which may be his doing. But looking back at their relationship, Calum realises that she has been there to fix his wound.

Whenever I listen to this song I realised how every relationship has difficult times but we stick with it because the love we fundamentally feel for the other person overrides everything else. I am sure many experiences these relationships. Thus, it is okay to have arguments with the people we love as long as both parties know what went wrong.

Summary:
Pity party is about no one showing up for Crybaby's birthday party, that it is the last straw for her. She pondered why she spent so much time making everything perfect. It caused her to feel a strong sense of melancholy that she destroys everything and smashes her cake to pieces. Feeling trapped in a cursed world, she does not want anyone to tell her to stop crying. Metaphors being used like 'Candles' and 'Flames' expresses how Crybaby wanted to burn her sadness away, but at the same time just wants to cry her heart out. She's so lonely she's going insane; she feels like she's dying. She spent her birthday in bitter disillusionment and forsaken.

Reflection:
After putting myself in her shoes, I can understand where Crybaby is coming from and how she is feeling. However, I disagree with the way she reacted by smashing her cake as it is wasting food and wasting her money altogether. I think the lyrics have a deep meaning that she has complete control of her actions, that she can cry even on her birthday. I admire the fact that Crybaby was able to look at the disastrous event in a new light. I would suggest for her to talk it out or find better friends who do not neglect her.

society does not promote a culture of acceptance, if it still discriminates, outsiders would create their own space, and continue to be fearless in their own quests. We need not care about how society views us, it is simply the least of our concerns. We want to break free from what is considered traditional, to prove to ourselves that we can be a part of society, whether integrated or separated.

Reflection:
This song really speaks to me as a whole, to accept myself for who I am, not who society wants me to be, because that is just pretending somebody you are not. If I cannot find myself being accepted into society, I would rather find friends that feel the same way, instead of being expected to conform to the patterns of this world. After all, aren't we created different and unique?

Summary: This song is about how one doesn’t have the capacity to feel love as it is an unnatural and foreign feeling to them. However, it is illuminated as how one is insecure that they are unable to fully reciprocate this feeling to someone who has given them lots of love and care. For example, in terms of romance, the lyrics of this song states how the partner is unable to understand what's so good about them that caused their s/o to fall in love with them.

Reflection: This song portrays the feelings of self-worthlessness and admiration of others. Having someone great by your side can make you doubt yourself and wonder if you deserve to be with them. It is hard to please someone and return their gratitude without feeling that whatever you give is not enough. This song serves as a versatile example of human relations and how we react to our loved ones and proves that love is sometimes impenetrable.

Sometimes life can be so barbaric that you can just feel that Death is calling your name. During this very catastrophic times, we need someone to guide us to the right path and stop us from losing our sanity. Hence whenever things go erroneous, we should always find someone to share or rant our feelings to instead of concealing them until its too late to rue.

summary:
This music is not only for adolescents but also for children. The lyrics of this song show the protagonist Johny retaliating and using underhand methods to deceive his father. However the ever so discerning father suspects that Johny is lying and catches him red-handed. Johny does a sinister laugh and rejoices in triumph. The lyrics are not short but rather succinct in elucidating its point which I will discuss.
reflection:
Although there are only a few lyrics one does not need lengthy lyrics to understand to gist of the song - which is a moral - bad actions lead to consequences. Johny is a symbolic representation of the human nature to lie and the father is a representation of the outcomes of that nature and suppression of it. What this song teaches people is that lying = bad as it has deleterious consequences which can lead to chain-reactions which set off worse outcomes.

https://youtu.be/papuvlVeZg8

Summary: This song is about a single mother doing whatever she has to do so her son can have a better life and what she has to sacrifice and go through with to do that. In the song and in the music video, the mother works as an exotic dancer in order to fund the life with her child. The woman is metaphorically "killing herself" by giving up her own body for men's admiration, to feed her child. The rock-a-bye is a "good-bye" to the mothers pride, hence in return for taking care of her child (feeding, clothing, sports, everything for that baby). This means that she is saying "bye" to who she was and now her morals are pushed aside to do what is necessary to take care of her child.

Reflection: It made me realise that parents will do anything in order for their child to live a decent life even if it may be morally wrong. This has certainly changed my views and attitude towards my parents as they truly care for me even if they hit me with heavy objects which gives a red mark for weeks or scold/nag at me. I am certainly grateful towards them and I hope to repay them in the future.

(summary)
This song emphasises on the significance of facing your challenges rather than shying away from them or giving up. The lyrics express how, despite the countless number of failures we may face (which is completely normal), with persistence and determination we will succeed.

(reflection)
This song is extremely pertinent to people who are pusillanimous - easily giving up when faced with problems. I believe that these people will be able to relate to the lyrics, hence finding motivation and rationale to leave no stone unturned until they thrive and overcome their challenges.

https://youtu.be/Zi_XLOBDo_Y

summary: The song's lyrics refer to a real-life experience, in which a mentally ill female fan claimed that Jackson fathered one of her twins. A young woman wrote a letter to Jackson, informing the singer that he was the father of one of her twins. Jackson, who regularly received letters of this kind, had never met the woman in question and ignored it. The woman sent more letters to Jackson, claiming that she loved him and wanted to be with him. She wrote of how happy they would be, bringing up the child together. She pondered how Jackson could ignore his own flesh and blood (his "child"). The letters disturbed the singer to the extent that he suffered nightmares.

Following the letters, Jackson received a parcel containing a photograph of the fan, as well as a letter and a gun. Jackson was horrified–the letter asked that the pop star kill himself on a certain day and at a specific time. The fan would do the same once she had killed their baby. She wrote that if they could not be together in this life, then they would be in the next. To his mother's dismay, Jackson had the photograph framed and hung above the dining room table of their family home. Afterwards, the Jacksons discovered that the female fan had been sent to a psychiatric hospital. This female came in mind when he wrote 'Billie Jean'. He talks about the court case (for 40 days and for 40 nights, the law was on her side.)

The lady shows a lot of interest in Michael, and believes he is the father of her child (I said don't mind but what do u mean, I am the one?)

Reflection: hee hee
https://youtu.be/siLkbdVxntU
