What i love about this song is how it connects to the events that happened to characters. Each character have something they want and are not afraid to put their life on the line as long as they have a reason to do so.

This song in my opinion shows the characters strong desires to let go of their pasts and to grow stronger.They feel as if they are falling into the abyss and can break any moment. Going back, they want to become the better version of themselves, Who they want to be.The past is painful and continues to haunt them but they have to move on .Break free from it. No matter how tough the journey is , they still have something to fight, live for and to find their light.It doesnt matter whether it cost their lives.In the end their reason/determination will come through, that it can overcome anything.Nothing can stop their goal.Therefore, its the deadly drive of the characters.

This song is about having a dream. Making the attempt to start will give you energy to work towards it and turn your future, tomorrow, into today by achieving your goals. There are like minded individuals who are with you on the way to tomorrow to achieve their goals and there is no need to feel lonely. Your will to achieve your dreams will motivate and fuel you to take more steps towards a new day. So one should stop waiting and start to move towards tomorrow. As long as you are sure of your identity and dreams you will eventually succeed. Try to dream big and a better tomorrow will arrive.

Reflection:

This song encourages me to have dream big and be industrious like other like minded individuals so we can all step into the next day as a better person. Instead of fighting an uphill battle against each other, we should make building each other up more prevalent in society. As long as we remain persistent, our dreams will come through one day. We must not be discouraged by difficulties and stay resilient.

This song describes how incompetent one can become without ambition. However much potential one has, if they are ambitionless, they may miss many opportunities that come up to them due to lack of confidence. The song then encourages us to push out limits to never shy away from challenges and to face them with courage.

Reflection (50 words)

The lyrics inspired me in a very profound way. The lyrics motivate me to strive through difficult times and my diligent work will pay off. In addition, ambition is an essential component of our daily lives. It gives us the adrenaline to push forward and expedite our tasks. It's common for us to make absurd excuses just to get out of an awkward situation, and this illustrates how unambitious we can be. In the long run, we get stuck in this perpetual cycle and eventually become anti-social.

This song is about fighting through a difficult relationship. No relationship is ‘perfect.’ It is the two partner’s efforts that make it a perfect relationship despite all the flaws present. Calum Scott promises that he would ‘climb mountains’ and ‘swim oceans,’ metaphorically, to make this relationship work. It takes effort from both partners to make a relationship lasting. And sometimes it is worth this extra effort because she/he is the One. Calum Scott suggests that there are some parts “broken” in this relationship. Some of which may be his doing. But looking back at their relationship, Calum realises that she has been there to fix his wound.

Whenever I listen to this song I realised how every relationship has difficult times but we stick with it because the love we fundamentally feel for the other person overrides everything else. I am sure many experiences these relationships. Thus, it is okay to have arguments with the people we love as long as both parties know what went wrong.

This song made me feel doleful for Eric's loss of his son. Although the death was cataclysmic, I feel that he should not disparage or malign himself. I do hope that instead, he will be able to stay positive and hopefully one day find his peace despite missing his son. 

this song is talking about the feeling of butterflies in one’s stomach when doing things that mean the most to them. In the video, the singer shows some of the things/people that give him shivers. This song is also a commitment to the singer’s partner, clearly describing the feeling of being with the right person.

I chose this song as it sounds good and I like how the lyrics describe the feeling of being in love. It clearly shows how love can change one’s perspective and see things in a different light. you become more optimistic and are constantly on cloud nine.

summary:
this song brings about the message of everlasting friendship stating that even if life separates the two apart physically , The singer will never forget the memories she had with her friend. This song is a dedication to the singer's friend who passed on, and conveys what she wishes she could say to her. In the first line ' So are you happy now?' the singer asks her friend if she is in a better place like she thought she would be in, and reminisces the memories they had together.

This song is very meaningful as it spreads awareness about mental health issues and how it can affect one's self, and how it can affect the people around you.  The tone of the song is very melancholic, and portrays the imagery of the singer with her friends when they were younger and carefree.

This song is about the painful and harsh reality of trying to let someone go after being so emotionally attached to them. it becomes so overwhelming to the point that the singer is putting all the blame on herself and regrets her action. She uses the insightful analogy of the rubberband snapping to describe the intense attachment towards her ex lover and her inability to fully let go of their relationship.

reflection:
The lyrics of this song evokes feelings of sympathy for her. I can understand that we act out irrationally at times and regret our actions after. However, it came with a cost of losing her lover as a consequence. The snapping of a rubberband tells me she uses a lot of willpower to overcome the immense feeling of heartbreak, just like the amount of force needed to be exerted to break the tension of the rubberband.

  The story portrays a man who meets a suicidal girl and falls for her. She is attracted to 'death' and always time after time attempts to commit suicide but everytime she does, the man will talk her down and prevent her from doing so. It's said that the God of death will resemble one's ideal person. The girl continuously repeats she can see the God of Death calling her which in the man's eyes shows him how shes slowly falling into insanity.

  After listening to this song, I feel quite emotional. Sometimes life can be so barbaric that you can just feel that Death is calling your name. During this very catastrophic times, we need someone to guide us to the right path and stop us from losing our sanity. Hence whenever things go erroneous, we should always find someone to share or rant our feelings to instead of concealing them until its too late to rue.
