Drakes song ‘Started from the bottom’ speaks of  this rappers individual journey into success and what it took for him to get where he is now. He speaks of his individuality and how he “was trying to make it on [his] own, working all night.” He also talks about how the people “say [he] never struggled, wasn’t hungry.... Although through some of his life he was seen as less, or different, his powerful words and his movement revolutionized America and sprang upon a real conversation over the mistreatment of ethic minorities in what would soon become the cultural center of the world. This American civil rights activist led non-violent marches that still continue to this day.
