This is done  through the use technical elements and features such as:

- Colour scheme / palette 
- Font styles aka. use of the same typography consistently. 
- Use of images e.g. the use of the same main characters consistently.
- Use of language is the same e.g. if the mode of address is direct, this will be consistently used throughout all their promotional material to establish a link. 

Overall these features must be the same and applied consistently through all promotional materials, to create a link between them, and thus establishing a brand identity.
