His landlord stated that he is being held responsible for the actions of his other guests. Hobbs believes he is being treated unfairly and that the perpetrator who also lives in the building should be getting an eviction letter. Hobbs took his complaint to the Ontario Landlord Tenancy Board and was able to evade his eviction and reduce cleaning costs by half. I believe that Mr. Hobbs should not be punished for something he didn't do even though it was in his home you can't always be responsible for others.

They didn't start receiving any complaints until a new neighbor moved into the downstairs apartment. They don't believe they made much noise and tried they're best to prevent it because if they get evicted they'd be stranded in Canada. I don't think its right that a landlord can give an eviction threat to a tenant just because another one is being too unreasonable.
