1) Benefits of sharing artifacts:
Allows students to connect their personal experiences to the classroom.

2)Students could write about their artifact in connection to their lives. 

Learners can use their artifacts as tools to navigate and anchor them to their experiences and relate them to the classroom. 

For example, one of our artifacts traveled around the world: students can discuss where the artifact might end up in the future, or how might it be if the artifact went to their countries. Use that to talk about culture, and cultural literacy.
