         <description><![CDATA[<div>-By the point in a child's life, they tend to prefer more structured activities over open-ended activities&nbsp;<br>-Their attention span is becoming much longer and they enjoy taking on new responsibilities and roles, in and out of the classroom<br>-Children in this age group still require some direction from adults when completing a test and enjoy asking questions<br>-While their level of vocabulary is ever growing during this time, they move from communication to a foundation of learning by becoming more independent&nbsp;<br>-Reading becomes a much larger aspect of a child's learning experience, as they can apply what they are reading and hearing to everyday experiences<br>-Enjoy creating their own stories<br>-Learning the difference between reality and make-believe<br>-Develop much ore sophisticated skills in math and word problems<br>-Gaining more interest in the way their bodies move<br>-Enjoy showing off and gaining attention from elders<br>-Gaining more self cotrol<br>-</div>]]></description>
