         <description><![CDATA[<div>Assalamualaikum and hello everyone.So basically on week 5,we study about chapter 2B about algae and protozoa.On this topic,we discussed about the distribution,classification,morphology,nutrition,reproduction,classification of algae from different division,characteristic,the algal bioful and about protozoa which describe the morphology,nutrition,locomotory organelles,reproduction,classification and the subphylum of the protozoa.<br>based on algal topic,the algae have two type of kingdom which is protista and plantae.the algae under kingdom of protista are under division of chrysophyta(yellow-green,and golden brown algae,diatoms),euglenophyta(photosynthetic euglenoids flagellates),pyrrhophyta(dinoflagellates),charophyta(stoneworts) and chlorophyta(green algae).the algae under kingdom plantae are phaeophyta(brown algae) and rhodophyta(red algae).<br>&nbsp;One of the algae under chrysophyta division is diatoms where it is inportant as food source for fish and other marine animals .the dead diatoms&nbsp; will sink to the bottom of ocean and&nbsp; accumulation of diatom frustules ,diatomaceous earth (used in detergents, abrasive polishes, paint removers, filtering agent, soundproofing products and reflective boards) .<br>while for protozoa,the classification is based type of nuclei,mode of reproduction, and mechanism for locomotion.this divides them into phylum ,SarcomasBgophora , Labyrinthomorpha , Apicomplexa ,Microspora, Ascetospora , Myxozoa and Ciliophora.<br>thats all for week 5.thank you</div>]]></description>
