Our first IED Project was understanding and explaining how a stand fan works. Learning C++ also prepared us to learn C which shared some similarities. Having obtained previous knowledge on the workings of a stand fan and ideas on how to increase its sustainability, it was also crucial in the development of our MAPP project. We were able to make use of what we learned in our IED project and decided to implement a Temperature Controlled automatic fan which included hardware upgrades that allowed for a lower carbon footprint while ensuring proper function. It's hard to manage as some members want to rush the project and their code ends up overlooking many details which they would've caught if they did things slowly

This is usually solved during the brainstorming stage (storming stage of the team). However, personally we encountered challenges while attempting to apply the UN SDG's due to conflicting viewpoints within my team regarding my project's functionality. This created a struggle for us in terms of implementing the SDGs in a cohesive and coordinated manner.
