A lot of the children were actively watching the tournament. After this some of the bowlers stayed and demonstrated how to bowl and showed off their skills.

There was music playing throughout my whole time there. Everyone was encouraged to cheer and dance along to motivate and get the crowd going.

I was able to experience the beautiful sight of fireworks. I also got to see kids and adults have a fun time participating in the activities like axe throwing and football.

I was amazed at how many fun activities there were for kids. There was bouncy houses, corn hole, face painting, and semi-permanent tattoos.

I did notice that at the face paint kids were able to draw what they wanted on their face. The artists would then recreate their drawing. After this the kids could take their drawing with them.

I had the opportunity to ride a few of their waterslides, participate in races, and an all you can eat competition.

Children and their families were able to go to the "children's area". In this area kids had the opportunity to enjoy slides, the pool, and more water games made for their safety. I noticed that there were a lot of kids playing with one another or their parents.

In a section of the park kids were welcomed to learn how to swim. The instructors had different activities for them like how to float like different marine animals and animal races.

The main thing I would "take away" from these experiences is the inclusion that different places have for everyone. In every place I felt extremely welcomed. There were activities for children, adults, and seniors.

My Favorite

My favorite art experience was Castaway Cove. I am a lover of the water. I have so much fun in the pools and ocean even though I do not quite know how to swim. I also enjoyed it more than the rest because I felt like it was the place that was the most inclusive.

Future Application

I want to take these experiences and use them to have activities for all of my students. Some students will be more advanced than other or the other way around. I want to also have activities that students will enjoy and look forward to in order to have engagement.

I had the opportunity to see semiprofessional bowlers. They were having a tournament where the public had first come seats. After this we were able to practice our bowling skills.
