Figure 1 shows that from 1904 - 2014 there was a decrease in marriages and an increase in divorces. The decrease in marriages could be due to the detraditionalization from the 1900s to the 2000s. The increase in divorces indicate that people feel more socially liberated and not as stuck in the traditional roles that once excited in our society.

Table 1 shows types of people and relationships and the number of which have no children or at least one child. The statistics show that while opposite-sex marriage stayed at a constant between 1990 and the 2016 every other type of relation increased. This demonstrates a change in social norms as people do not feel obligated to follow the traditional nuclear family.

Fig. 2 shows the average number of children born to women over the course of around 30 years in 4 different countries.

Table 2 shows the changes of people between 1970 and 2014. Average life expectancy grew significantly in both genders in the last year due to the evolution from last years. Fertility maintained its number. Mother’s average age at first child increased a lot due to individualism. Marriages increased too but at the same time the number of divorces increase too due to individualism and detraditionalization.

Figure 3 shows the statistic of how Danes live between 1980 and 2014. It shows the rate of people smoking, consuming alcohol, not participating in exercise and fat intake. Smoking and alcohol consumption decreased but that more men than women drank and smoked. This could be due to a change in how society socialize as it is no longer appropriate to consume alcohol or smoak at a place of work. Amount of people exercising has increased while amount of meat consumed has decreased due to a change in social attitude towards health.
