Words by Mrs. Ellett's class

The story starts in a big city. The buildings are huge. It is snowing.

Someone is walking on the sidewalk.

It is a girl. She finds something red in the snow.

It's a book!

The girl goes to school. The book is in her bag.

The girl starts reading the book. In the book, there is a map! On the map, there is an island, and on the island, someone is walking in the sand on the beach.

The boy on the beach finds a red book in the sand. He reads the book. He sees the huge city.

He looks closer and closer, and the buildings look bigger. He looks in a window and sees the girl looking at the book.

The book is magic! The boy on the beach sees the girl in the school, who is looking at him looking at her.

The boy smiles at the girl, and she smiles back.

Then, she closes the book.

The girl exits out of the school. She walks down the sidewalk and pushes the button. She waits for the blinking white man so she can cross the road.

The girl asks a tall man for a bunch of balloons. Then, she uses the balloons to fly!

She flies out of the city. Is she going to the beach?

Oh, no! She drops the book! What is she going to do?

The boy is sad because the girl dropped the book and flew away, and he can't see her anymore. But maybe he can...

The book is open. The boy on the beach is happy. He sees the girl coming to the beach.

The book closes. Someone else finds it and rides away on his bike. If he opens the book, maybe he will find the girl and the boy!
