Some natural resources of Zambia include Copper, cobalt, zinc, lead, coal, emeralds, gold, silver, uranium, and hydropower. The natural resources help them because they make up 40% of Zambia's wealth and help its economic growth. One of the best resources that Zambia has is coal. The country has one of the highest-grade deposits of copper in the world and is the world's fourth largest copper producer. In addition, Zambia is home too small, deposits of cobalt, nickel, and manganese. Copper gives over 70 percent of the country's export earnings, giving them lots of money. Another strong resource is gold. Zambia produced 40,000 kg of gold in 2020 from primary sources and secondary sources such as gold bought from artisanal.

Mozambique has many natural resources such as coal, titanium, natural gas, hydropower, tantalum, and graphite. With the strength of its resources, Mozambique should now be Southern Africa’s most important energy producer. Mozambique has some of the biggest coal deposits in the world. One of the good resources are hydropower. Hydropower is a resource that is mainly used to generate electricity. Hydropower in the country has always been the main source of electricity generation, with a potential of 12,500 megawatts. Hydropower helps the country by giving them energy and light. They can also export the energy at the dam. Another strong resource is natural gas. They reserves of about 100 trillion cubic feet and country is 12th among the other countries with proven natural gas reserves. The natural gas is produced at a facility in Temane and then exported through an 865 km pipeline to South Africa, for southern Mozambique to have for domestic use. The country gets fresh gas this way to help their economy. In conclusion, Mozambique has some pretty important natural resources that they can use for their economy.
