I used to spend holiday afternoons with my grandfather. He always used to read books before going to sleep. I used to do the same, getting inspired by him. As a result, I read literature from all over the world at a very young age, and to this date, reading is one of my favourite things to do. Reading works of great authors across so many countries is why I identify as a global citizen and carry the value of being respectful of diversity and accepting of other cultures. These are the values I try to build in my students, and I am looking forward to the course to learn SEL activities as SEL helps build the same values.
