         <description><![CDATA[<div>There are two types of relationships, Impersonal Relationships and Personal Relationships. Impersonal relationships <br>can be a stranger, customer, client, or sales clerk. Personal relationships are usually a family member, friend, partner, or <br>girl/boy friend. <br><br>Three relationship classifications are: Acquaintances, Friends, Close friends, or intimates. A healthy interpersonal relationship is, having a balance of self-disclosure and feedback. In Johari's window there are four aspects: open, blind, hidden, unknown. <br><br>The interpersonal Needs Theory is, whether or not a relationship is started, built, or maintained depends on how well each person meets the interpersonal needs of each other. Three interpersonal needs of interpersonal theory are: inclusion, control, and affection. <br><br></div><div>Definitions:</div><div><br><em>Inclusion-</em> The extent to which we include ourselves with others or wanting others to include us. <br>                Example: Calling a friend on the phone or texting, walking up to a group of friends. <br>                Deficient: Undersocial<br>                Excessive: oversocial<br>                Ideal: Social<br><br><em><br>Control- </em>The extent to which we control other’s actions or want them to guide us. <br>            Example: giving suggestions, deciding what to watch on TV, driving the car.<br>            Deficient: Abdicrat<br>            Excessive: Autocrat<br>           Ideal: Democrat<br><br><em>Affection- </em>The extent to which we express affection to others and desire that from them. <br>                 Example: Expressing affection is touching, smiling at another, prolonged eye contact, complimenting.<br>                 Deficient: Underpersonal<br>                 Excessive: Overpersonal<br>                 Ideal: Appropriately Personal</div>]]></description>
