Food insecurity is a major impact in Kenya which is caused by droughts. The area is too dry to support crops for agriculture. The amount of permanent rivers and the seasonal waterways is not enough to handle flooding in the rainy months. As a result of this, transport across the region is destroyed. Cattle is the main source of income for the residents. However, their herd is killed by droughts quickly, which results in little or no income. In central Kenya, people are suffering from droughts，resulting in the agricultural crops 
can not grow in this dry region. What is more, few permanent rivers and seasonal waters mean it  is hard for people to live. When the rainy months come, floods often disrupt the transportation of the region. Most people live off their cattle, however, the herd can be killed easily during the drought, resulting in a loss of income.
