In schools we celebrate the diversity of different cultures and religions across the curriculum. 

As of September 2014, schools must promote British values and for independent schools, free schools and academies, it is set out in improving the SMSC Development of pupils in schools. 

British Values link with SMSC (social, moral, spiritual and cultural).

Treating others with tolerance/acceptance and respect, being inclusive and accepting of difference, engaging with others with generosity, behaving with care and responsibility of our environment - quote from Cedars.

We promote this in school by having things such as school council, student voice and access to the cirriculum. 

Actively promoting British values means challenging opinions or behaviours in school that are contrary to British values.
