         <description><![CDATA[<div>British Values prepares children and young people for modern life in Britain.<br><br>In schools we celebrate the diversity of different cultures and religions across the curriculum.&nbsp;<br><br>As of September 2014, schools must promote British values and for independent schools, free schools and academies, it is set out in improving the SMSC Development of pupils in schools.&nbsp;<br><br>British Values link with SMSC (social, moral, spiritual and cultural).<br><br>Treating others with tolerance/acceptance and respect, being inclusive and accepting of difference, engaging with others with generosity, behaving with care and responsibility of our environment - quote from Cedars.<br><br>Schools encourage democracy through everyday votes and student council; this helps pupils to understand that in the future they may not always win (e.g. Political parties</div>]]></description>
