         <title>1. It gets the kids engaged, and curious as to what happened. It relates math to real life situations and gets them into the math state of mind. </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>2. They first were able to turn and talk about what had happened in the video, to build curiosity and clear up confusion. Then students were able to talk out the problem and strategies with the teacher, and other students at their seats while solving the problem. Finally, the students talked through their way of solving the problem, allowing them to see the various ways of solving the problem. This could allow students who were stumped to see that there are more solutions than one way.<br>3. I could use this in my classroom to link math problems to real life situations. I will use this to get students to talk about their solving strategies and to have them do more thinking on their own to work through tough questions. </div>]]></description>

Students share a variety of strategies to solve in groups. <br>3. I can use the three act task in my classroom to provide better learning opportunities and deeper thinking strategies for my students to apply real world solutions through math concepts and  understanding. </div>]]></description>
