I’m reading you book, Dear Martin and i must say it’s a really good book ! Justyce McAllister is not the ordinary teenage boy ! He’s very smart , he wants a better future than his past, he wants to go to Yale ! Growing up black people have always been treated differently from any other race, a black guy can be walking down the street with a hood on and people will think he’s up to know good. I like justyce i think if he was a real person me and him would be good friends, i just don’t like that sometimes he doesn’t speak up when he knows he should. I don’t like his bestfriend Manny, he doesnt speak up either he just follow behind his white friends, maybe because there parents are all rich and successful, or maybe because he doesn’t want to be looked at differently. As i continue to read this book, i learn more and more about justyce. He likes a girl name Sarah Jane aka SJ, but he keeps choosing his ex Melo even when he knows it’s the wrong choice. I think he’s just scared of letting go and moving on and more scared of the fact that his mom would beat him half to death if he brought a white girl home ! 5 students from 5 different back grounds, all have detention one day. During that 1 hour of attention a boy name Simon dies. For months after, detectives, police and reporters follow these students. Simon was the one person that knew everything . He had a blog that exposed everyone secrets and what they were doing behind close doors. Everyone thought one of those 5 killed Simon because they were in the room with him, and that wasn’t the case at all! The person that killed Simone was .... i don’t want to spoil it ! I really enjoyed reallyinh this book though. At first, it was a little boring because they just kept picking with the 5 students but after a couple chapters it’s got GOOD! My favorite character is Addy. She’s the homecoming princess that dates the hottest guy in school and everyone thinks life is so great for her but when things didn’t go as planned and her and popular boyfriend break up due to her cheating she’s handles it really bad at first. after a while she got back on her feet , she realized she didn’t need him at all ! It’s really different from the past books but I’m starting to like it. It’s about a guy and a girl going through kind of the same problems . Finch is the guy known for always being in trouble and starting problems . He’s probably been in the office more than i go shopping and trust me that’s alot  . Finch is fascinated with death . One day he’s at the top of a school tower; he meets a girl there well to be honest he stops a girl from almost making a bad decision. I haven’t got to far in the book but so far I’m liking it . You know in highschool  it’s always that one popular girl but it always turns out that she’s going through something deep. Violet use to be a cheerleader and dated the most popular guy in school until one day she got in to a car crash and her sister died but she survived . She still has never rode or drove a car since . She feels guilty. I couldn’t even imagine something so harsh like that . If i was to lose my sister i would go nuts. I can’t even imagine how hard it is for her . Finch saves violet . But everyone thinks violet saves Finch.. Finch does every hurting possible to make violet tell him the reason she was up there. Finch and violet grow some kind of friendship iguess you can call it that. I really don’t like reading . Hate it . But I’ve been finding really good book and this is one. Usually you think of the super weird kid that everyone’s picks on but finch is the TOTAL OPPOSITE. He’s super fly , some girls even like him, they just find him weird because he stays in his own lane. I would say I’m like Finch but not completely! i stay to myself most of time and i don’t care what people have to say about me. I know what type of person i am . That’s mainly the reason everyone finds him so weird. He just doesnt care . But on the other hand violet cares . Even though she won’t admit it . She cares . She doesn’t want anyone thinking she wanted to end her life, especially not her parents . She’s kind of starting to tell Finch more about her but she’s still shutting him out . Finch takes sleeping pills . Well usually he does . He stopped because he said “...but who’s going to check on Violet to make sure she’s not back up on that ledge?.
