Jack and the Beanstalk Challenge
1) Read the story ( easily found online).
2) Gather these materials: coffee filters, cupcake liners, yarn, tape, straws, tissue paper, pipe cleaners, construction paper, dental floss
3) Let’s say the beanstalk was knocked down before Jack could leave?... Build a parachute for Jack!
4) Try various combinations of the materials. Test the parachutes out ( a Lego person works well to attach the chute to, a.k.a., Jack)
