2. Do you think the video uploads have helped you improving your speaking skill? How?
Yes the video uploads have help me to improving my speaking skill it was because before I doing the video I will study and try to improve my speaking skill before get ready to doing the video. It happen because I want to make sure my video become perfect and no need to record many time.

3. Describe your week without walls (www) video project. How did the process of working on this video help you to become an independent learner?
The process of working on this video help me to become an independent learner when the lecturer give me a task to do. Actually week without walls is week that the student need to do a task that have been given by the lecturer in the hostel but, because the task need to do in the group we need to hang out and do the task together. 4. Are you satisfied with your performance in ELC 121 especially in your speaking skills?
Yes because before I take and doing all the tasks that my lecturer given to me my English is so bad and speaking skills is not so good like now. Now my speaking skill more improve and I hope it will make my performance will more Increase. I have learn more grammar from this subject.

 

        Based on the story that I have heard "the selfish giant" by Oscar Wilde. There are many changes that occur in the main character that I have learned from this story. Firstly, from the selfish attitude change to unselfish attitude. For the example the giant was not allowed another people come to her garden until one day the giant showed his selfishness with built a high wall, so the children could not play at his garden. The giant does not allow children to play in the park because he cannot play in the garden like kids. but at the end of the story, aware of the mistakes that have been committed and threw selfishness.

       Secondly, the selfish giant been more kind-hearted and more caring for the example the selfish giant allow and share the garden with a little boy at the last. It was because he likes the cheerful surroundings as before. It was because he likes when the birds came and sang on a tree and love when all flowers bloom again. This condition make the selfish giant change herself from uncaring to caring. It happens because the giant does not like the unhappy and gloomy circumstances.

       For my opinion, we must change our attitude to be better than now. For me we learn from our past mistake like the selfish giant. The selfish giant realize the mistake that it was his selfishness that has caused warm seasons to the garden, than he allows the children to play at the garden again for bringing back the happy surroundings to the garden. The conclusion is we must try to be better person and learn from our mistake.

3. What are the moral lessons you can find from the story? Explain by giving examples from the story and real life situation.

 

              In the story that I have heard there are many moral lesson that I can find in the story. The title of the story is the lion and the mouse. The first moral lesson that I have learn from the story is, do not look down on other for the example then lion was let the mouse go after that, the lion was laugh at the mouse. The lion was laugh at the mouse because the mouse was promise if the lion let him go the mouse will repay with the lion kindness. The lion also think that situation is impossible. But at the end of the story the mouse was help a lion from the hunters. From the story we know that we must not look down to other because not that mean if you a rich now you will be rich forever. For the example in real life situation is, many people from the silver spoon doesn’t like to have a friend with poor people. But from the story you can learn that do not look down on other people because sometime we may have a lucky days and sometimes we got unlucky days.  

            Secondly, A good act gets its return for the example from the story is when the lion let the mouse 

go but at the same time the mouse was promise that the mouse will repay his kindness. So from the kindness of the lion do for the mouse that let the mouse go and laugh at the mouse because the mouse was promise to repay the kindness. The example for real life is, if we do something good you will get another good thing. So we need to help each other such as when your friends in a problem you can help your friends as you can.

The conclusion is, we must help and be kind to each other so that we can get a good reward from our god. We also, can take action like the mouse who didn’t miss his promise after make a promise.
