What subject to choose?
- Can be maths (Virpi), can be art (Fablab), or other topics up to us.
2. Problem 3&4 are most solvable.
3. Focus more on students, less on teachers because other groups are focusing on solving teacher's problem
=> Focus more on lesson plan rather than guideline.
4. Problem:
- Take lesson plan as a push, a basic guideline to develop further (in relation with the teacher's training)
5. Background information:
- 4 teachers in a team.
- Focus on teaching in 1 particular lesson. Easier choice Virpi's class
- 4 hours a year.
- Play with available tools of LET lab and let the students try out.

There is a lack of understanding about computational thinking as a transversal element. Instead they associate CT strongly with programming. There is also a big issue wherein the teachers have a limited amount of time to interact and collaborate with each other (Lack of time to plan together)

Solutions
- Children want us to have more engaging, fun tasks across all their subject areas.
- Picasso will help us understand how to break down and look at something in its individual parts, much like in art.
- Obama will save us by creating communities of learning for teachers, promoting openness and cooperation.

Go Computational Thinker Go!

There is a lack of understanding of the value and the meaning of computational thinking course. As well there are no learning goals, teachers were not being trained for teaching the subject.

1. TEACHER WORKSHOP: The core problem is teachers are not aware of the relevance of Computational Thinking (CT), either the programming programs. Therefore they have not cognitive or motivational resources to teach the course. The workshop will provide them the relevance of CT, and also the guidelines for the topic for the students between 7th and 9th grade.

2. COMMUNITIES OF PRACTICE: There are different organisations and institutions which already have studied the subject. The solution aims to integrate all these actors within an online environment so an exchange of knowledge can be fostered.

3. CURRICULA DESIGN: Considering the current schedule (4 hours per year), we would provide a curricula design, a set of activities and a list of resources, so teachers can improve their performance along the course. However, this solution is a short-term one, not solving the core problem.
