 First they had to reduce the memory that would store temporary data in the computer.
Then they had to reduce the hard disk that was in charge of keeping the data permanently in the system.
 Modern computers use an input port called USB before PC2 was used which if you did not restart the computer could not read the object the machine and so several years later they implemented the USB port that was easier to connect to the computer.
They reduced both the processor that already fits within the hand of a human being and is much faster.
Also people confuse the computer with a normal PC because a PC is a small computer that you can have in your house and is designed for family use or use of work in offices, banks etc. These have an integrated microprocessor that allows designers to place an entire CPU on a chip and computers are being sorted more mind by size the smaller the more powerful the computer
