I have never taken part to Safer Internet Day, but last year at school I organized a conference with students and parents on safer internet and how life would be without the internet, the occasion was the celebration of 30 years from the first Internet connection in Italy (30th April 1986). For one week I worked with students to create videos and share ideas to present at the conference. I share the presentation of what we did.

We always participate in the Safer Internet Days. We also developed several Erasmus+ Project about Digital Identity and how to improve it.

We also are aware of the Esafety Label Program. (Silver awarded)

In the last 3 years I attended the event, where we promoted this event on the school website, the school's Facebook page, the students had realised various promotional materials, publicity and popularization, students have participated in the competition.

This is the first time I have heard about the eSafety Label. It is an interesting idea, but training is needed to make people accept the idea that safety IS an issue. Threats tend to be underestimated by the general public and room is not made in curricula for some sound ICT safety training.

We have been using esafetylabel model since 2013. We were granted with the silver certificate at the end of 2014. The autoassesment tool is a powerful tool for schools, it helps identifying aspects you can improve in the school digital system management in order to be safer and to provide a consistent service to teachers and students.

It was a surprise to earn the silver label. We were told that to share our experience and documents we created with the community was a key point to earn it.

Every year we organise some event around Safer Internet Day: privacity, data protection, safe access to accounts are some of the subjects we have addressed in this events and we have to follow pushing on it.

for me it seems to be the same for the eSafety label. parents might think their son/daughter is safe, but might not be, because they might not even use the school infrastructure to surf the net, but use the one that comes with their sim-card....

As all my colleagues in Italy, I've never heard before about the Esafety Label, but in Italy there is a project called "Generazioni connesse" which is very similar. This project is promoted by the Ministry of Education and presents a series of activities to improve a safer use of internet ( a series of videos and activities to do with students and parents, it helps to create a safe internet protocol in the school....)

I didn't know this Label and the celebration of this day. I found these videos very interesting and useful. I have taken notes to make a report to forward to my Head Master so that we can apply for this Label as a way to reflect in the High School about Security and Safety related to the Internet.
Also I have taken notes and watched videos for Safer Internet Day 2017, and I expect to work that day this issue with my students.

Through this module, I have learn about the Safer Internet Day first time. My country's ICT in Education is not advanced as Europe. But we are growing gradually. We have an initiative here for digital schools of distinction which is along similar ideas to the eSafety label. For safer internet day, there are courses in our education centres based on digital citizenship and internet safety - directed towards cpd for teachers.

The first time I heard about Safeter Internet Day it was in 2011 at Cyprus when the Nationa Agency of eTwinning organize a meeting. From this date I organize at my school and sensybilize my students about the posivity and the risks of internet and their everyday life. Is the first time I saw the labels and I find it very useful.

We "celebrate" Safer Internet Day every year in my school. The students take part in activities that are designed to raise their awareness on that very crucial issue.
On the other hand we don't have an eSafety Label but we would really like to.

as an eTwinning ambassador I made some training courses and activities on the eTwinning platform connected with the responsible and safe use of internet. I heard of the safer internet day and I registered to the site of the eSafety label. Since this school year I'm in a new school and I'll try to organize some activity to sensitize students and colleagues about this theme. Thanks to eTwinning collaborations with other colleagues from all over Europe we discuss a lot with our students about issues related to eSafety and many of our activities aim to raise awareness and responsible and respectful use of the net , but our school doesn't have yet an eSafety label.

I had heard of the Safer Internet Day, but I have not organized activities for this occasion. Last year I organized in school activities on the safe use of the internet on the occasion of the Internet Day, the 30th anniversary of the first Internet connection in Italy. A secondary school class has made a nice multimedia presentation on the risks of the network and cyberbullying, younger pupils created drawings on using so conscius of network, and they played with Internetopoly, an Italian platform

My school has never taken part to the Safer Internet Day. It sounds interesting and I will do my best to invole my school in the future. We do many things to make students and partents more aware of how to use the internet and be safe. I’ve never heard about the Safer Internet Day and my school has never taken part to this event.

Actually we are running a project about cyber crime to make students and parents more aware of how to use the internet and be safe. We planned to invite officers and experts from the cyber crime unit and different speakers are expected to talk not only about e-safty to both students and parents but also about the importance of using computers and technology in a healty way.

I didn't know about e-Safety Label and Safer Internet Day. However my school is involved in the project "Generazioni Connesse" that is promoted by the Ministry of Education. My school, infact, is adpted a E-Safety Policy. In the creation of the policy have been involved all stakeholders (students, teachers, parents, staff and members of the wider community).
Furthermore, my school hold safety sessions to make the parents more aware of the risks their children might be in and be informed and updated on new technologies.

I have heard of the Internet Safety Day. During that week in ICT classes we discuss the topics around Internet safety. Annually we have an excellent speaker who address all the students and give a talk to parents on that evening. Despite having attended that talk repeatedly, I still learn something new every year.
I had not heard of ther eSafety Label, but will be looking into it more.

We do know about Safer Internet Day, on second week in February. Safer Internet Centre Slovenia (www.safe.si) is the national project promoting and ensuring a better internet for kids. They are organizing activities for students and lecture for parents and teachers. eSafety Labels are new to us.

I attended a webinar on internet security, was really interesting. With my students in fifth grade I did a lesson on this subject and I have tried to explain as it is important to pay attention to these recommendations for privacy and personal safety, I participated on the eTwinning platform to the Safer Internet Day with some drawings made by my students.

My school is a Special School and our pupils are particularly vulnerable. Students must hand up their phones at the beginning of each day and get them back going home. Our biggest difficulty is when students online activity outside school hours has repercussions during school time. I believe that digital literacy is one of the best ways to deal with this.
Every year in February I dedicate 2-3 lessons on Internet safety & appropriate online behaviour. We don't have parents in for talks on internet safety but this is something I feel that we should do.
I would certainly be interested in checking out the eSafety label.

In Italy there is a project “Generazioni connesse”. The general objective of the project is that of encouraging the right conditions for the promotion of initiatives that help make the Internet a better and more trusted place for children and young people. I haven’t experiences yet . In my school will begin a course for pupils aged 10 to 12 years about the risks of whatsapp and cyberbullying.
