Telling students what they are expected to learn and showing them what they need to be able to do (Learning Outcomes)

Session should have a mixture of theory and practical so that students get a chance to demonstrate their understanding of the topic.

Engage students using different learning strategies e.g. Group task, Pair task, Brainstorm ideas.

Assess students against learning outcomes using questioning.

Giving feedback to the student so that they can improve.

Use technology available to make session more interaction, use visuals, graphical represent information.

I have learned that it is much useful to use sticky papers so students can write questions without mentioning names can motivate them to ask questions.
