I was 14 years old and I traveled with the school psychologist, my mother who was a religion teacher at my school and 13 classmates from different courses. We arrived by plane to Madrid after 11 hours of flight to take a bus that would take us to a town called Leon where we spent the pre-World Youth Day that lasted 8 days in which we stayed to sleep on the basketball courts of a school . They invited us to visit a town called Sahagún and visited the Benedictine mothers. When the previous session ended, we went to Madrid to enjoy the day. In Madrid we slept in the soccer fields of another school and we always had several activities. We sleep 4 or 5 hours a day because in the summer the sun rises early and dark very late. We went to know Toledo one of the 5 provinces of Castilla la Mancha. In Madrid I got to know the Prado Museum, the Royal Palace of Madrid, the Retiro Park, the Gran Vía, the Puerta de Alcalá, the four-wind airfield where the vigil with the Pope and the amusement park of Madrid took place. On my trip to Spain, I was able to know more about the country than on my cruise trip because it was only one day per country. For me, Spain is the most beautiful country I have visited. The Cathedral of León is the most splendid cathedral I know.
