Donald discusses in lines such as:

He is saying those lines to make himself seem like a more privileged individual. He is saying that he can do and possess all of these cool things and that he is very cool for having and doing so.
He also says
"I'm so fitted"
"I'm so Gucci"
"I'm so Pretty"
I believe this ties back to the lines that were stated in the beginning. He is thinking of himself as a privileged and a prominent person in doing so.
Another time that Ethos is used is when he repeats the word "Hunnid Bands" and "Contraband". Childish Gambino is saying that he has a large sum of money because of the contraband that is being sold in America. He is bringing in lots of money over the use of firearms and ammunition in America.
Another phrase that uses ethos are the lines:
"America, I just checked my following list and you motherfuckers own me".
He is saying this because social media is so prominent in today's society, so he feels owned by his followers because he makes so much money by just being a social icon in America. I believe that the title of "This is America" uses pathos. It is appealing to our emotion because it is the country we live in and we want it to be deemed as a successful and positive country. America is where we live, so we are drawn to the name of it.
Another use of pathos is in the beginning when he is saying:
"We just wanna party, party just for you. We just want the money, money just for you. I know you wanna party, party just for me. Girl you got me dancing, dance and shake the frame". 
I believe that these lines are using pathos is because this is what Americans want. We want to party, have fun, dance, spend time with our family and friends, and spend our own money. But what comes with having fun is working hard and going through lots of hardships, which is what Childish Gambino brings up in his darker lyrics. He wants us to relate to having fun and partying and spending money, but also relating to the hardships that we go through outside of having fun and partying.
One particular line that is said quite often during the song is:
"Don't catch you slippin' up".
This line uses pathos because it can relate to lots of people. They don't want to mess up in America for the fear of what will happen to them if they do. This not only applies to following the law and staying away from law enforcement, but it also is applicable to everyday life and how we want to be perfect to all of our coworkers, family, and friends.
Childish Gambino also uses the line:
"Grandma told me..."
This uses pathos because we all love our grandmas and memories of our grandmas can take us back to good times with them and what they told you when you were younger.
The last phrase that uses pathos are the lines:
"You're just a black man in this world, you're just a barcode. Drivin' expensive foreigns. You just a big dog, yeah. I kenneled him in the backyard. No proper life for a dog, for a big dog.
This uses pathos because Childish Gambino is saying how he feels as a black person. He is feeling as if he doesn't have any worth and a black person may think that they are getting up somewhere in the world, but they are really just another person living through the system in America.
