It's So Noisy -- Scenarios and Solutions by

1. Post your scenario 2. Choose a classmate's post to respond to 3. Respond by a) identifying the noise in the scenario and determining its type and b) give your ideas on how to prevent or minimize the affect of the noise in that scene. Consider: can a single stimulus lead to more than one type of noise? Can the same stimulus create different noise for different people or in different scenarios? Your solutions should be specific to the scenario you pick. MAKE SURE YOUR NAME IS ON YOUR POST AND YOUR COMMENT(S)!

My mom sent me to the grocery store after telling me some things she needed me to get. I grabbed a cart and started walking through the aisles, trying to remember everything she said. The frozen aisles were so cold that I really had to stop and concentrate on what I needed to get — it was getting harder to focus. I pulled out my phone and called her, but I couldn’t hear her very well over the music they were blaring over the speakers. Eventually she had to text me the list so I could read it.
