After that, I decided I couldn't stay in Grandview anymore and wanted to move back to Blue Springs where the rest of my family lived. During my freshman year, I meet a ton of new people that I now call friends and even consider them as part of my family. Over that one school year, I was a part of at least eight different organizations, I was always busy! Within these organizations, I created amazing lifelong friendships! At this time I was focused on getting my degree in Elementry Education.

So I applied to multiple schools and finally decided on continuing my education at the University of Arkansas...WOO PIG! It wasn't easy, but in the end, it was worth it! While I had many hardships thrown my way when I first transferred, I always had my best friends from Rockhurst and family back home supporting me all the way. I won't lie, there are days when I just want to give up, but I know that in the end, it would be all worth it. After many downfalls, I decided to change my major from Elementary Education to English Education.
