If attempting to flee from the police after committing a crash, you can face a penalty of a 1 year driver's suspension, jail time, a $500 fine, and other fees.&nbsp;<br>3. Finally, penalties can become more severe due to the amount of blood-alcohol concentration, amount of injuries and damages, and the amount of times you are convicted for a DUI.<br>Interesting Points:<br>1. Parent consent is not required for police to conduct blood, urine, and/or breath testing for alcohol when an underage driver is arrested. Police however will notify parents of the arrest.<br>2. Even if you are not found guilty of driving under influence, you can be subjected to losing your driving privilege for one year for a first-time refusal to take a blood/breath test for alcohol.<br>Question:&nbsp;Are passengers in the car of the driver who committed a crash caused by drunk driving held liable in any sense?
