         <title>Olympic Games</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>In science, we did the "Olympics". We made bobsleds, skis, and curling stones. We had the choice of a partner or not, so I chose to work with people. For skiing, I worked with Greysen. For curling, I partnered with Lila. The last experiment, bobsledding, I worked with Hailey D. I learned how the science behind The Olympic Games. If I were to do this again, I would make my bobsled aerodynamic. I would put more weights on the front of the skis to drag it forward faster. Our curling stones should have been lighter, also.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>None of the tasks without thumbs were very hard. They were easy if you figured out strategies. To solve problems you had to think of different ways to hold or do things differently. If things did get a little challenging, I felt happy that I still had a thumb. The advantages of an opposable thumb were that we can grip things much, much better.</div>]]></description>

         <title>Muscle Fatigue </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Muscles are needed for every single movement there is. Pumping blood and protecting internal organs are other uses of muscles, too. 600 muscles work hard each day. There are different types of muscles such as skeletal, cardiac, and smooth muscles. Your heart is made of cardiac muscle like your esophagus is made of the smooth kind. Triceps are and example of skeletal muscle. Each muscle is either voluntary or involuntary. Involuntary muscles are muscles you don't have control over. Voluntary are the opposite; they are the kinds that you have control over. It doesn't take very long for muscles fatigue to set in. It hurts really bad and slows you down. Fatigue is a buildup of lactic acid in the muscle.</div>]]></description>

         <title>Washer Investigation</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>First, you found the temperature of the hot water and recorded it. Second, you found the temperature of the washers and recorded it. Next, you placed the washers in the water and watched the thermometer that was still in the water. Next you record the temperature of the water in the control cup. You recorded the change in the water temperature and washers. In the beginning, the water was 120°F and the metal washers were 80°F. The control cup was 103°F. In the end, the water was 95°F and the metal washers were 89°F. The control cup was still 103°F.<br><br>In the second investigation, you first off measure the temperature of the washers and the washers and record it. Next, you go see what the temperature of the control cup is and record it. Then, you put the washers in the water and measure the temperature of the water and washers. In the beginning, the water was 75°F and the washers were 110°F. The control cup was 72°F. In the end, the water was 91°F and the washers were 78°F. The control cup was still 72°F.&nbsp;<br><br><br></div>]]></description>
