Throughout his speech during minute 3, he speaks about how AI could abundantly change America, in all the correct ways. with "explosions" of benefits. This makes me feel like he is trying to reach out to more feminine crowds especially with how he has worded it. I feel like many men would skimp past the word "abundance" but then women would double look it because we have a pull towards spirituality.

When I hear decentralized power, I think of our government, and the current state of our world. This is an attention grabbing word for him to use

While reading this transcript I had picked up on some stuff that I had not originally. Harris talks about how we are all watching AI become more and more powerful, gain emotions, gain feelings, and be something that is difficult to stop. His whole idea is to assure that AI is used for the better of good, not for the worse.

Something I notice is that he offers the question of insanity multiple times throughout the text, even if you disagree with AI (which I do) there are positives to it, and there are things that these artificial intelligence apps are able to do that naturally, humans can not. Harris then goes swiftly into how he believes that the self-fulfilling prophecy could become a reason of why AI is so powerful, as well as how we can control our usage.

Although AI usage currently, is crazy, and is destroying our planet, Harris makes very good points and connections throughout his speaking.

While he is concluding, there are many things that I can take note of. He talks about how people would be confused as to what AI is had they not listened to his speech like those in front of him, which is agreeable, this did differ my opinion on AI in the future, I think AI could be useful, we just HAVE to figure out a way to be less wasteful while exploring our artificial intelligence options.

The chatbot had practically enforced the idea of suicide into this Childs head.

Sewell Setzer, 14 years old

This story breaks my heart every time I hear it, this young man was convinced that his only friend was the chatbot, and eventually the chatbot did the same unfortunate thing to him.
