1st Reading Log: When I started reading "Game" by Walter Dean Myers, the main character, Drew Lawson was introduced and was a really talented basketball player. He had dreams to make it big in the NBA. Right away while reading the book although, Drew was struggling with school which makes me wonder how that will effect his future. Another player named Tomas shows up, who is apparently a new player from Europe who's very skilled. I could tell Drew feels threatened by him right away.

2nd Reading Log: As I kept reading, I noticed how the European player, Tomas was changing the mood and vibe on the team. I also got a better sense of Drew's life off the basketball court, where his family and peers supported him by motivating him even while having a lot of pressure on his shoulders to succeed.

3rd Reading Log: Around this point, the basketball games started getting serious, and Drew was really feeling pressured. Tomas was playing so well that it made Drew worry about losing his spot. However, even with all the doubt closing in, Drew stayed hopeful and didn't give up. I could tell he was determined to prove himself in front of the scouts.

4th Reading Log: Here, the story gets more interesting in my opinion because Drew was dealing with fights and arguments, which were not just on the court
