Children will create a jungle in a box, relating to the story The Box. Values and self help skills involved. Children will work collaboratively to create their own jungle using recycle materials and fostering problems solving skills. This

will help children to collaborate in the groups working as a team. They will explore how to use recycle materials to create their jungles, with additional arts such as paintings for the tree logs and clouds. They will be using fine motor skills to create items such as the trees in the jungle. 😊

Once done, they will cut a straw into half and put the wheel & axel into the straw with teachers assistance. They will cut any coloured paper with their car drawings and make it into a curved for the car.

Teachers will read a book “If I Build A Car” to the children and encourage the children to build a car that can float, fly and swim. They use recycle materials like plastic cups, bowls, paper, straws and more. This is for them to explore their imagination and expand their creativity. They will also learn how to communicate and work as a team. Hence, they will be able to have fun while exploring different materials and ideas to built their own car with their friend and calling it as theirs.

Children are able to explore on how to built a car using the tissue boxes, foam noodles and the wheels. They can also explore different adhesive types of materials like transparent tape and white glue to connect different parts of the car to the main body.

The car is movable with the wheels attached at the bottom. The idea behind it a car that can move on land, water and air. The foam noodle is use for buoyancy on water.

Children expand their hands-on creativity by using paper cups and wheels. They decorated the main body of the car with coloured markers and added the wheels through the paper cups. The car can float on water as the cup is foamed material. The car is able to balance with a stable base and lightweight. Due to the lightweight, the car is made for fast speed in water and on land.

The wheels were attached to the bottom of the boxes so that the car is able to move in different speed. The children is able to use their creativity and also work together as team to create the car.
