I most looking forward to this year is making new friends and having healthy and deep relationships with my newer friends as well as my previous ones.
Three random facts about me are that I broke my leg because my grandpa accidentally sat on me, I have six sisters and one brother I'm the fourth (I only live with one sister), And if I wore my glasses throughout kindergarten I would have 20/20 vision!
I would describe myself as outgoing, intelligent, prideful, considerate, and open-minded.
An aspiration of mine is to become a dermatologist and make products that help people with certain skin conditions as well as help people restore their confidence. As well as becoming a track star! I want to inspire kids like me. I just know that I want to help and inspire people I also know that whatever I decide to do I will be great at it.
My favorite book is probably The Hate You Give. It's a very good book, I recommended and I think it does a good job of representation. I also enjoyed the movie but not as much because I didn't think it represented in the character very well appearance-wise and sometimes execution. In the book, she was depicted as a darker-skinned girl but in the movie, she is a lighter complexion. Personally think that was a disservice to dark-skinned women and it shows how underrated in the media. As well as only using black women stereotypes. They made her best friend a dark-skinned woman and directed her to be "ghetto" it felt very colorist. I apologize for this rant.
My favorite movie is probably the color person. it takes place over 30 years (1910-1 930) It's a very sad movie but I like how it handles certain things. For example how the black community deals with colorism and how it's still perpetrated in the modern day. The main character Cecile is a dark-skinned woman who was forced to have an arranged marriage while she is there she is constantly neglected and verbally abused by most people she comes in contact with. They make fun of her by saying "she sho is black". As well as constantly calling her ugly to her face. Also, I like how it shows the relations between the black community and religion. Also, I like how it shows how Cecile's husband is in the hierarchy of the house but also shows the relations between him and his white landlord and shows how he's still a "Boy" (I say boy because white people would refer to black men as boy). I also really like the show over the garden wall.
 Some of my favorite artists are Kanye west, steve lacy, king von, Baby Keem, 21 savage, Tay K, Kail uchis, Childish Gambino, Playboy carti, Lil Uzi vert, boogie with the hoodie, Fetty wap, Cardi B, City girls, Dmx, Tenna Marei, Debarge, Janet Jaxson, Rick James, Whitney Huston, Mitski, Janella monáe, Joji, Solange, Tems, Teyona Taylor, Jazmine Sullivan, Miguel, Bryson Tiller, SZA, Mary. J Blige, Frank Ocean, And So many more.
Some of my favorite bands are Pinkpanthers, Nervinna, Arctic Monkeys, Mother Mother, Jonna Jett, and the black hearts, Gorlizas, Big time rush,
