I rated this 4 star because there is a ton of action when you get into the book, but it starts out kind of slow. It also is very interesting and keeps you on your toes wondering what is going to happen next.

The author believes that you should protect your family and friends no matter what. This is true because Michael is always trying to protect his mother. When the gunman was trying to rob his mom he electrocuted him. He also is very protective of his friend Taylor. He finds out that she got kidnapped and is going to do whatever it takes to get her back. He also cries when his mother gets kidnapped and is ready to do whatever to get her back.
