Frank B. Wilderson can define anti-blackness as a way where many Black individuals are not being considered humans part of society where most of these member in Black communities would be viewed differently by whites as criminals, etc. Wlderson can understand anti-blackness by the challenges many members in Black communities have to face daily such as being stopped and questioned by police, being accused of a crime he/she did not commit, and experience harassments and assaults by those who do not welcome them in their community. We can use anti-blackness as a theory to better understand racial inequality in education by understanding that education is a big challenge for many Black individuals who had to face the amount of stereotypes and harassments daily that did not stop them to receive their education. For example many Black individuals are viewed differently by their teachers and classmates in the education system. Many Black individuals would sometimes be viewed by their teachers as a person who needs special needs based on their behavior compared to a white student's behavior being normal to teachers. Black students are more likely to be suspended from their schools that could stop them from getting an education. No matter how much racism, discriminations, and prejudice these Black individuals had to face it did not stop them from giving up to get their education for a better future for them to make history in the United States. As history was finally being made in the US where Barack Obama was the First African American to be elected as president of the United states back in 2009. Eric Adams becomes the first New York mayor to take office in the year 2022, and more. No matter how much history these Black individuals make it is a better inspiration for all members of Black communities to learn that it is possible to reach the career goal he/she wants to receive to help represent all Black communities as an equal society for all living in the US.

According to Frank B. Wilderson, anti-blackness is a state in which the majority of Black people are not seen as contributing members of society and are instead perceived by white people as criminals, among other things. Also according to Frank an interpretation lens that accounts for civil society's dependence on anti-black violence was a regime of violence that positions black people as internal enemies of civil society and is how afro-pessimism might be understood. Wilderson implied instead of viewing blackness as a manifestation and embodiment of cultural and/or anthropological traits, afro-pessimism views it as a result of structural violence. By realizing that education is a major difficulty for many Black people who have to deal with the numerous stereotypes and harassments on a daily basis but still pursue their education, we may use anti-blackness as a theory to better comprehend racial inequalities in education. For instance, in the educational system, many Black people are treated differently by their professors and peers. Because of their behavior, many Black people are frequently perceived by their teachers as having special needs, in contrast to teachers who would consider the behavior of a white student to be typical. Black students are more likely to experience suspensions at school, which may prevent them from pursuing an education. Additionally access to schools with sufficient resources is frequently denied to people who belong to these excluded groups. These people achieve significantly different levels of educational success or effectiveness as a result of inequality, which eventually stifles social and economic mobility.

Anti-blackness, according to Frank B Wilderson, refers to the way Black people are not seen as human, and their oppression is not taken into account. We notice how authoritative figures such as teachers may contribute to the anti-blackness theory without realizing it. Individuals of color are viewed as threats or criminals by society, as stated in the article. Comparing this belief to how its demonstrated in schools we notice how black individuals may be disciplined in schools compared to their fellow peers. Their behavior is seen as disruptive, loud, and a distraction to others. At this time, teachers may not allow black students to enter their classrooms or learning space. Creating the sense of these students being a burden and having no opportunity to learn. School-to-prison pipeline theory states that these industries do not aid black individuals' needs, and if they act out or revolt against these industries, they have been deemed as threats.

Frank B Wilderson defines and portrays anti-blackness as the creation of nonhuman, they are seen as people are not relevant to society . He mentioned "Human has three constituent elements; natality, honor, and contingent violence. These constituent elements of Human subjectivity are not embodied by slave or black". Here, Wilderson believes that black folks are not part of constituent elements of human behavior. Anti- blackness can be used as a theory to better understand racial inequality in education by using various of examples of people who has been downgraded from their skin color. For people of color to be treated differently, it can happen anywhere such as workforce or education. Limitations in society can happen anywhere in society as well. But these readings help understand how these changes has been doing historically.

Frank B. Wilderson argues that anti-black violence is not a byproduct of white supremacy but rather a system of violence in its own right. To those who have an anti-black worldview, Black people are the ultimate other, permanently doomed to isolation and death (Wilderson III). As a result, Black people will never achieve equality under the law or enjoy the benefits enjoyed by other demographics. Anti-blackness, as defined by Wilderson, is the phenomenon in which members of the Black community are seen differently by whites (as criminals, etc.) than they are inside their communities. Wilderson can grasp anti-blackness by considering the difficulties encountered daily by many members of Black communities, such as being stopped and questioned by police, being falsely accused of a crime, and being harassed and assaulted by others who do not accept them in their community.

Anti-blackness as a theory may shed light on the causes of racial disparities in schooling by helping us appreciate the struggles of Black students who persist in their pursuit of education despite facing a barrage of prejudice and hostility daily (Savannah, pg. 123-150). For instance, many Black students experience bias from their educators and peers in the classroom. Educators often saw the conduct of their Black students as abnormal, whereas that of their White students was seen as perfectly typical. More black pupils are suspended from school, which may harm their learning ability. This group of African Americans refused to let the obstacles they faced on their path to higher education and historical significance in the United States deter them.

According to the WEF publication, virtually all Black pupils report experiencing racism while attending school in the United Kingdom. This exemplifies how anti-blackness functions as a systematic barrier to prevent Black pupils from achieving their full potential in school. The anti-blackness theory is a useful lens through which to examine educational racism and the ways in which the school system may be used to exclude and injure Black kids. The educational system can be made more fair and just for all students if the systemic nature of anti-blackness and its effects on Black pupils are acknowledged.

Frank B. Wilderson Anit Blackness's prejudiced view towards African American talks about the social injustice and unfairness that happens or goes on with African American. He talks about the social issues with African American still occupying the feeling of slavery. The theory and philosophy described African American talks about the issues of feeling inferior to skin color violence threat. He talks about being in a world where white Americans have power and being African American feeling dehumanized. When we talk about racism, it is still a continuing issue that arises when it comes to social justice issues. We can use anti-blackness theory this is brought up in one of the articles I read “Study: Almost All Black Children have experience racism at school” by Natalia Merchant when she talks about racial segregation in schools and conformity the way students dress or appearance facing racial discrimination. In education facing these inequalities especially as a young child can be determent and it’s important to learn about history and be educated when it comes to talking your talking social issues at hand.

Frank B. Wilderson defines anti-blackness as how Black individuals were viewed as "not human", how society viewed them differently, a form of oppression that impacts Black individuals, and why they were treated unfairly. Anti-blackness comes from Afro-pessimism and it is concerned with ontologies. Wilderson also explains the concept of Afro-pessimism which is the lens of interpretation, how social phenomena can be understood and analyzed. Anti-blackness can be viewed as a theory to better understand racial inequality in education by understanding the indifferences/issues that Black people have faced throughout society due to oppression. For example, in the article “Almost all Black British children have experienced racism at school, studies show how Black British have faced racial stereotypes and racism in schools, how at least 95% of Black British individuals have faced racist language in education, and racism becoming a global issue throughout history. Another example from the article explains how Black individuals have also faced discrimination because of their afro-textured hair, their hair was negatively labeled as “unprofessional”, “messy” and “needed to be brushed” and they were pressured by society to straighten their hair as a way to fit in with society’s beauty standards.

According to Frank B Wilderson anti-blackness is a form of racism that specifically targets blackness and black people. We can use anti-blackness as a theory to understand racial inequality from our readings by taking a look at WEF’s “Almost All Black British Children Have Experienced Racism At School” the very first thing we see after the title of the article is “95% of young Black British people have witnessed racist language in education.” It seems like there is a lot of anti-blackness going on in the UK, they are openly racist to Black Britons. This shows how the British education system thinks of their black natives, they do not seem to proceed with caution and care for black British students as they continue to use hurtful language and display blatant racism. Upon further reading of the article it is found that 70% of people felt the need to change their hair to be more “professional” for work/school. Outside of the reading we can apply anti-blackness theory to things we have seen during our own education, like schools targeting black students for wearing their hair a certain way, deeming it distracting yet it is not distracting if someone else who is not black wears the same hairstyle. There is also the gross over sexualization of young black girls, where they are constantly called “fast” and treated as if they are older than other females in their grade. There have been times where I’ve witnessed a difference in how students would get punished in class, usually the ones who were not a poc would get off easy but if you were a poc then you’d get the harsher tone/lecture.

Frank B. Wilkerson states "Blacks are objects and implements to be possessed (accumulated) and exchanged (made fungible) in the material and physic life of Human subjects. Black people are the things that belong to humans". In other words, Black people are not even considered human, and anyone who believes this ideology is promoting anti-blackness. He understands that Afro-pessimism theorizes that Blackness is an effect of structural violence. Also to be Black is to be absent. As in there is a void in their existence just for having Black blood. We can use anti-blackness as a theory to better understand racial inequality in education by trying to steer far from the lens that views Black students as unworthy of quality education. Subconsciously teachers may have this bias as a result have low expectations for Black students, act surprised when they excel in their academics, or don't even put too much effort in helping them learn new things because they feel it isn't worth it. Black communities on their own have to deal with the stereotypes of just simply existing in their environment. They are instantly judged for their disadvantages instead of being offered assistance or told about resources. Why must children go to school and deal with anti-blackness in their school environments? We should appreciate the ones who can persevere despite all of the adversities working against them.

According to Frank B. Wilderson, anti-blackness is the belief that Black people are not seen as humans. Meaning that being human is socially constructed to be understood synonymously with being white. As Wilderson puts it, this then causes inequality and oppression in society. In his writing he explains it as “a revolutionary theory is grounded in the assumptive logic that the world itself is unethical and that no amount of reform will improve life for the subject of redress” (38). He compared it to how women in history were just looked at as the other sex. Knowing this and understanding his perspective of anti-blackness can help us to better understand racial inequality in education because it helps us to know how deep the problem is. The problem is bigger than just the education system because as Wilderson states, anti-blackness is the idea that being human is constructed with the idea of whiteness. Meaning that anti-blackness will manifest in many ways into society. However, we can use this to know how education needs to change. More representation in schools would be great. Allowing more students perspectives and stories into the classroom would be helpful. Most importantly, the discussion of anti-blackness in the classroom would help students to know how it exists and schools and hopefully motivate them to together push for reform.

Anti-blackness, according to Frank B. Wilderson, is a basic and structuring force that operates inside society. It is more than just racial prejudice or discrimination against black people; it is a separate ontology that posits blackness as a state of being characterized by social death, disposability, and exclusion. Anti-blackness is a distinct form of racial oppression that underpins and pervades a wide range of systems and organizations, including politics, economics, and culture. We obtain a better grasp of the ubiquitous and enduring character of racial structures by examining racial inequality through a perspective of anti-blackness. Recognizing anti-blackness as a theory allows us to see that racial inequality is deeply rooted in the fabric of society rather than being based primarily on individual acts of discrimination

This idea has affected black people in all aspects of their life from the moment they are born.

Frank B. Wilderson defines anti-blackness as a way of demonstrating white supremacy toward black people. She emphasizes the idea that anti-blackness is a form of treating black people poorly and discriminatory towards them due to their race. One could use anti-blackness as a theory to better understand racial inequality in education by acknowledging the lack of respect many young Black students are facing and the racist comments they continue to witness while attempting to receive their education. The article “Almost All Black British Children Have Experienced Racism at School,” shared by the World Economic Forum, discussed the challenges of young Black British children and the lack of trust they had towards the police due to the racism they encountered while attending school. This demonstrates how students did not feel safe in their school even with police officers. This issue does not only impact a student’s opinion towards the schools or police, but it also impacts how motivated one is towards continuing to receive the education they need. One may think that just because a student is attending school, they are receiving an education, but that is not true. How should one expect a student to concentrate in a school they do not feel welcome in?
