The author compares and contrasts different resources to prove his idea. Moreover, Rowlingson (2011) uses a lot of evidence to emphasize that there is a strong connection among three items above, while making some contradiction on others idea. In the report, the author also uses a lot of verbs to express certainty and to report as well as adjectives to express his voice.
