In the text, the Syme emphasizes how as a Ministry of Truth member they are working on eliminating all words and forms of expressing. The government wants have ultimate control of the people and doing this will remove all personal and internal thoughts, ultimately taking away individuality.

This slogan of the party illustrates how the government controls and manipulates thoughts, essentially stripping away individual reasoning and replacing it with Party doctrines.
