Hairstyle and makeup were extremely similar between America and Mexico, mostly likely because of how close the two nations are. As we move down to Brazil, we also see similar trends for people to have athletic bodies and large buttocks like in North America. Brazil also has a high amount of individuals getting plastic surgery for butt implants and other touch ups to meet this trend.

As we move East we see a large trend in countries that want lighter toned skin like India, China and Thailand. Besides the Gyaru subculture of fashion trends, Japan also produces models similar to its neighbors. It would seem Asian countries try to replicate western ideals of beauty.

Saudi Arabia does not provide much in terms of freedom of expression to its women. Women in most cases are required to wear long black gowns called niqab's which do not allow any skin to be shown. This may change in the coming years as women are being given more rights. When the time comes, women may look to neighboring cultures for fashion trends.

Sweden has always been known for its fair skinned women that are usually blonde with blue eyes. Even researching different models, I found that the women with brown hair are usually of lighter shades than what you would see in North America.

Overall, what I found was that countries that have access to western media have tried to adopt more and more trends from those countries.
