the screenshot of this video was close up photographs of wood / tree bark and their patterns.
they merged the photos together to create a continuous animation.
the animation does act like a pool of wood like the title says, the time frames seem to be less than a second as there is always movement and the wood is that neutral and continuous it reminds me of coffee or sand.

Some motion graphers  merge real life models and videos with digital art.

they have taken little clips out of a TV programme / movie and then put mirror effects on all of them to reflect on all the scenes but to also make it more mysterious and not too revealing to they eye. 
I think this is partly genius because it can create a lot of confusion and patterns that may be a hint at the viewers or may just be really appealing to the eye because its different and quite independent.

changing the colour of them and then flashing a lot of the background before the time frame changes with a new image. 
I do not find this one successful at all because it causes a lot of eye strain straight away and doesn't give you a good perspective on the clothes they are trying to sell. 
it confuses the viewer and doesnt really show what they are trying to sell to anyone.
