For the activity of the month of March we dealt with goal 14 of the 2030 Agenda: the sea. Through educational videos and research in books and online we documented and studied the two faces of the sea: the clean one and the polluted one. The students wrote poems, worked on Canva, built dioramas and 3D artifacts. The students have appointed themselves sentinels of the sea and have pledged to save it.

March brings not only spring, but also our desire to give life!
We, the students of the 4th grade, rolled up our sleeves, carefully prepared the soil and planted seeds full of hope.

Each seed hides a story. With a little water, light and a lot of love, it will turn into a flower or a vegetable that will delight the eyes and the soul.

By planting, we learn patience, care and respect for nature. This is how we become little gardeners of the future and friends of the Earth.

On the occasion of International Water Day, we did several activities on this topic, we discussed the protection of this resource and its importance in the life of plants and animals, about desertification, about solutions for protecting water. I listened to a story and created another happy ending. We continued the series of experiments with water. They were inspiring activities!

The students studied the goal 15 of the Agenda 2030: Life on land which aims to safeguard terrestrial ecosystems and their biodiversity. My students created a model showing the polluted Earth and how it should be. They used recycled and commonly used material. They are very attentive and sensitive to this issue.

In the depths of the seas, on the shores of lakes and in the flow of rivers there is life - quiet, fragile and vital. Fish, corals, aquatic plants and millions of other creatures are fighting for life in waters polluted by human hands. Every plastic we throw away, every waste we dump, takes their breath away.

Remember, there is a world under the water. We cannot ignore it because we cannot see it.

Protecting aquatic life is to protect not only fish but also our future.

Take a step today.

Use less plastic, do not pollute the seas, do not waste water.

Because if there is water, there is life.

Life on land and in water is threatened by pollution, climate change, deforestation, and overfishing. These dangers put many animals such as sea turtles, polar bears, whales, and bees at risk. To protect nature, we should recycle, reduce plastic use, save energy, and support projects that protect wildlife.
