The problem with making a map with other people's work shown on it is having to rely on those people to get their locations to you on time. This type of work I have never tried before and will never try again. From the painstaking copying of the map section by section from digimaps, to the focus on other peoples work, it was all just soul crushing; something I didn't realise till it was too late.

This experience has taught me that I need to be more selfish with my time, and work for myself instead of thinking that I’m doing people favours with my work, because I'm only doing this for me. No one else actually cares.

And if I start to hate what I’m doing and not enjoy it then I can just stop and try something else, instead of stressing over it and pushing through to the bitter end.

I don’t know why I didn't do a more environmental piece in the end, it’s my passion to use what's already given to me when I arrive in an environment, just take the evolution of my studio space as an example. First in year two, then in third year, the first thing I wanted to do was deconstruct 
er thing I want to do is be in the studios more, but lately I have very little motivation to go. In foundation I couldn't wait to get in and start work but here people were hardly ever in so it felt like I wouldn’t be missing anything.
