So when I first saw the grouping, I was very anxious inside, I was worried that I wouldn't be able to read the labels of the exhibits, and I was very worried that I wouldn't be able to understand the exhibits. With such nervousness, I opened the homepage of the Science Museum's webpage.

People's initial impression of science museums may be cold machines and numbers. I had a headache when I first browsed, thinking that it would be difficult to find exhibits that suited my taste.

Then I began to search like looking for a needle in a haystack. Suddenly, I saw something that caught my eye, that is, toys and dolls. There are such things in the science museum? Why are they here? Who selected them? What is their role? With huge questions, I started a special search for dolls.

After browsing the web page thoroughly, I have the following summary of the appearance of these dolls: roughly divided into two categories: toys and professional auxiliary tools for engineering experiments/medicine/clothing, etc. Needless to say, toys reflect the technological process of society to a certain extent. The second category is worth paying attention to, so I started my own exploration

In the course of the discussion, I selected a number of assistive dolls that are used in medical treatments. Although they appear to be in the form of toys, they actually help medical advances. For example, there are dolls that assist children in understanding gender distinctions and dolls that are used as a means of mental reassurance. And others can be used directly as prosthetics, directly in medicine.

What Lucy found are spiritual symbols that represent the early days of medicine when people used these dolls to pray that God would help them through their illnesses.

A good tandem point that comes to mind here is that dolls can be used as a medium to help us explore further advances in medical treatments. In early civilisations, human medical treatment techniques were still in a very poor state. Dolls at this time could be seen as an embodiment of witchcraft, but at the same time had a healing effect on the human body spiritually. However, with the advancement of technology and medical devices, the dolls were gradually transformed from a means of witchcraft to a real medical device. On the surface, although it is the change in the use of the dolls, behind it is really the advancement of medicine, the development of the times and the continuous emancipation of the human mind.

Although I liked the theme of dolls, I was well aware that this was a group work, so the theme was chosen with the input of all. Therefore, after she expressed her thoughts, we dropped the doll as a theme and switched to astronomy.

Each of us presented something of our choosing about astronomy.

Since I don't know much in this area, I only selected some representative exhibits. Things like spacesuits with touching stories behind them, groundbreaking telescopes, and so on.

This field trip gave us a deeper understanding of Thomas Wright's life and academic achievements. Through personal contact with the historical objects and exhibition contents, we were able to more intuitively feel Thomas Wright's scientific thinking and innovative spirit, which also provided us with rich inspiration and materials for our subsequent research and creation. On the whole, this museum trip not only deepened our academic interest, but also helped us to better build a comprehensive understanding of Thomas Wright.

More importantly, I was also able to see the works and research results of other scientists of the same period, which allowed me to compare Thomas Wright's research horizontally with the results of other scientists of the same period, so as to better understand his contributions and uniqueness. This visit not only deepened my knowledge of the background of Thomas Wright's research, but also broadened my horizons and helped me to better understand the overall pulse of scientific development in that era.

The Enlightenment exhibition at the British Museum, on the other hand, provided me with a broader historical perspective that enabled me to better understand the era in which White lived. The objects in the exhibit cover 18th-century scientific tools, philosophical texts, and descriptions of the natural world, revealing how Enlightenment ideas influenced scientists' modes of thinking and directions of research. In these exhibits, especially the work of scientists of White's generation, I saw how they continued to advance human knowledge of the universe through experimentation and observation. At the same time, I was also able to see more clearly how the clash of ideas and exchanges between Thomas White and these scientists collectively shaped the currents of the scientific revolution of the time.

What impressed me most during this viewing was White's drawings of “Interstellar Structures and Models of the Universe,” which are fine hand-drawn sketches showing White's thinking about the structure of the universe. Not only did his drawings clearly outline his vision of the distribution of galaxies, but they also contrasted with the theories of other scientists of the same period, such as Newton and Halley. By comparing it with other exhibits, I was able to better understand White's uniqueness - he combined abstract astronomical knowledge with artistic techniques to make complex scientific principles more intuitive and understandable.

The exhibition gave me a more comprehensive understanding of Thomas White's personal research, and allowed me to see more clearly how the scientific spirit of the Age of Enlightenment drove changes in worldview. Through experiencing these precious historical relics in the field, I realized the remarkable contributions of White and the scientists of his time, and deeply felt that the intersection of history and science can still inspire us to continue exploring the unknown today.

Firstly, for the color theme, we chose classical tones that highlight the content and boost visual appeal. We agreed on a dark background with bright accent colors. This would suit the exhibition’s artistic vibe and create a strong visual impact.

For the interactive installations, we decided to include elements that engage the audience. Visitors can click or swipe on the webpage to unlock more exhibit information or join a virtual reality experience. This would make the exhibition more immersive and interactive.

In terms of web design, we focused on a classical style with clear and smooth typography. This would make the exhibition easy to navigate and understand. We also discussed making the site responsive, so it works well on both computers and phones.

Regarding roles, each member took tasks based on their skills. I was responsible for the documentary production, turning complex ideas into easy-to-understand visual content.

Finally, we reviewed the text content. We aimed to make the copy more lively and engaging, avoiding too much academic language. The goal was to balance visual and textual elements, creating a smooth, cohesive exhibition. This discussion clarified our direction and set a strong foundation for the next steps.

With no prior experience in animation, I was able to acquire basic animation skills through self-study in a very short period of time. Although the final product is slightly childish, I believe it still has some educational value and clearly conveys the core ideas and contributions of Thomas Wright. With this animated film, I have succeeded in achieving my goal of presenting Wright's historical background and scientific achievements in a new way and helping the viewer to understand his importance more vividly and visually.

Of course, we also need to be vigilant in the use of AI tools to avoid over-reliance on them.

The ultimate goal is to present an exhibition with academic value and creativity through the online platform, bringing new inspiration and knowledge to the audience.
