The singer in this song uses the adjective "beautiful" to describe the woman's mind. He gives emphasis to the beauty of her character whereas her imperfections does not seem to bother him. He admits loving every characteristic of her and especially her smart mouth and her every mood or reaction are the things that have made him feeling crazy and fall for her. What he really appreciates is the fact that they are having a strong, affectionate relationship as he says "I give you all of me and you give me all of you."

I think this song is basically describing how things will change throughout life, he will grow old and his memory will grow weak and he knows he'll grow weak physically as well, but the one thing that he's sure of, is the fact that he will love her just the way he did back when he was young and he knows she will love him just the same. "baby my heart could still fall as hard at 23" and "I know you will still love me the same". And that's basically what he's trying to convey through this song. The feeling of loving someone deeply and knowing that they feel and will feel the exact same way towards you.

i believe that the author means that immortality is achieved by your soul and your actions in life;
If your a good,loveable,helpfull,generous etc person you will go to heaven and therefore be saved.And in this poem I think that because the woman that is described has the characteristics I mentioned earlier , the author made her a poem like a gift because of her actions and her personality and it seems he knew that this poem will exist forever ,giving her immortality .This is my point of view .Im really sorry for not answering earlier miss.

The singer says that true love ages and does not die. He believes that he will love his woman until his death and he knows that she will still love him the same. Her soul will never grow old. According to the singer true love does not depend on the age and the appearance. These things changes during the life but true love lasts forever!!!
