         <description><![CDATA[<div>Before the flapper generation women wore long modest dresses, no makeup, and had long hair. In this generation women had to follow what men said and didn't have a voice of their own. Due to this women did not feel the need to stand out. </div>]]></description>

They cut their hair shorter, wore shorter dresses, and wore makeup. Mainly colored and poor women were put into domestic jobs like factories, while white women worked in they're homes. Due to thos women only composed of 23.6% of the working class. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div> Due do new inventions and innovations and women getting new jobs outside of they’re homes, more free time opened up for them. Women now had more time to do fun things, such as hang out with friends and family at parties or just at home. Often parties were a favorite among them due to the fun time and seeing everyone they’re close with! </div><div>We chose this to show how women enjoyed themselves when they aren’t working and how the new jobs created more opportunities for women to have fun. </div>]]></description>
