In addition, it focused on not only the protagonist’s problems but also how her outbursts affect others. Rachel Caine has done a superb job of creating a world for the readers to imagine and to be transported to. The plot becomes confusing as you move through the story. The writing style is also sometimes hard to follow. Almost all the characters were, for me, hard to take a liking to or bland.
