Educators and children can listen / read this story to highlight the impact of rubbish on the environment and the importance of embedding sustainability into the curriculum

After reading the story, educators can enhance children's thinking by asking questions such as

‘How can we recycle in kindergarten?’

‘What kind of things could we recycle?’

This will spark children’s curiosity about recycling.
